I have been in the tax Industry for over 10 years now. I truly enjoy working with individuals and small businesses from all walks of life to help alleviate the stress that comes with taxes. I am a full year tax accountant, meaning I don't just work seasonally so I am available for support throughout the year as well. I also offer other financial and accounting services outside of the tax season, so if you have any questions in regards to that please reach out. I am a small business owner myself so I enjoy using my personal experiences in the finance world to help my clients in any way I can. I am a proud mom to my 5 year old son and 3 year old daughter.

I am a retired police officer with over 27 years of service with the LAPD. Throughout my career, I was also heavily involved in real estate sales and property management. This dual experience provided me with valuable insights into tax benefits and liabilities, which made transitioning into the tax industry an easy and natural step, which motivated me to acquire my tax preparer’s license. I am a Downey native, an alum of Long Beach City College, and also had the honor of serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. I am excited to being a new addition to the Elsa Perez Team and looking forward to providing excellent service to my newest clients.
